All Health subjects are welcome. All breeds are welcome and we can even address some human health concerns, mainly because dogs and humans have a lot in common. This group will focus on evidence based medicine and a holistic approach both for health maintenance and treatment of disease. All members are required to be considerate when posting and to carefully read what the original poster wrote, then what everybody else has posted, then, if appropriate add to the discussion.
When a member has a sick dog, do not clutter up the thread with unnecessary postings such as repeating what somebody else already said, or something that is not helping to address the illness such as "Praying for you" or "hoping things will get better" etc. Posts that contain unscientific advice will be deleted as soon as Admin becomes aware of it, there will be a post from Admin instead to notify of the deleted post and why, this should prevent others from posting the same advice again.
If you work in a healthcare related field, please let us know so we know what we can pick your brains about. Disclaimer: This group does not replace seeking medical attention from a licensed professional if needed. Nothing posted on this group serves as diagnosing a disease, treating a disease or providing medical advice. If a person or animal is critically ill, do not waste time by asking for help on this group, take the person or animal to the nearest emergency room.
TY for being part of our community. We have implemented many protocols to keep this community safe and friendly!
