    15) Health Representation: Owner represents that the Pet is in good health and has not been exposed to any communicable disease within the last 30 days. Owner agrees that the Facility may refuse entry to any Pet showing signs of:

*Contagious parasites (Sarcoptic Mange, Lice, Fleas, Ticks).

    *Fungal infections (Ringworm).

*Active, oozing bacterial infections (Pyoderma, Hot Spots, staph).

*Visible skin lesions or rashes of unknown origin. If a skin condition is present, the Owner must provide a written statement from a licensed veterinarian certifying that the condition is non-contagious and that the Pet is fit for boarding. We have the right to deny any dog at any time due to illnesses.

    16) Medical Emergency & Veterinary Care This clause ensures that if a skin condition (like a Staph infection) worsens or an injury occurs, you have the legal right to seek care and the owner is obligated to pay.

    1. Medical Emergency Authorization: In the event the Pet becomes ill or injured, or if a pre-existing condition (such as a skin infection) worsens significantly, the Facility will first attempt to contact the Owner or the Emergency Contact. If neither can be reached, the Facility is authorized to seek veterinary care at its discretion.

    2. Choice of Provider: The Facility will attempt to use the Owner’s preferred veterinarian; however, if that veterinarian is unavailable or if the situation is urgent, the Facility may use its veterinarian of choice or an emergency 24-hour clinic.

    3. Financial Responsibility: Owner agrees to be solely responsible for all costs associated with such veterinary care, including but not limited to examination fees, diagnostic tests, treatments, and transportation fees. Owner authorizes the Facility to charge the credit card on file for such expenses.

Clause 2: Administration of Medication This clause protects you if a dog arrives with a skin condition that requires creams, wipes, or pills (like antibiotics for Staph).

    1. Medication Disclosure: Owner must disclose all medications (prescription and over-the-counter) at the time of check-in. All medications must be provided in their original pharmacy containers with the prescribing veterinarian's instructions clearly labeled.

    2. Administration Fees: Owner acknowledges that the administration of medications (oral, topical creams, or medicated baths) may incur an additional daily "Medication Fee" as outlined in the Facility's price list.

    3. Hold Harmless: The Facility agrees to administer medication as directed by the label/Owner. However, the Facility and its staff shall not be held liable for any adverse reactions, side effects, or the failure of the medication to improve the Pet’s condition while in our care.

    4. Refusal of Care: The Facility reserves the right to refuse medication administration if the Pet displays aggression or if the application of topical treatments to a skin condition poses a safety risk to the staff.

If no notice is given, for any reservation, we reserve the right to charge you for the full amount of the scheduled stay.Thanksgiving and Christmas deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, but with the proper notice listed above, a deposit may be transferred.
